Job Title:
3D Generalist

What do I do?
I pretty much work on every aspect of the 3D production pipeline. I embark on everything from modeling and texturing, to lighting and rendering (and everything in between such as uv mapping, rigging, animating, lighting, dynamics, etc). At the end of the day, whatever needs to be done, I make sure it gets done.

What's the coolest thing about ghOst?
I love the fact that ghOst is like a family. I feel welcomed. Everyone is great and helpful, and the environment is very relaxed.

What do I do when I'm not working?
I spend most of my time hanging out with my wife. Going to eat. Watching movies. Putting the BBQ to good use. Watching House Hunters International and Keeping up with the Kardashian's, and spending countless hours shopping. The wonders marriage does. When my wife is not around, I enjoy my passion, which is cars. I work on my car, go on cruises with the local car club, research random things about cars, and make 3D cars. Cars pretty much occupy my entire life.

My story:
Upon graduating from the post graduate Computer Animation program at Sheridan College, I took my first job as a 2D Animator on a television series entitled "Busytown Mysteries". From there I moved onto being a 2D/3D Game Artist for online casino games working on many production titles over the course of nearly two years, including slot games, poker, etc.

I then decided to move back home to Toronto and worked for a few larger studios on various projects as a 3D Generalist.

At Rubber Pixel, I worked on numerous commercials and online features for clients such as Disney XD, Tetley, General Motors, Toyota, Bakugan, Kokanee, Jeep and many more. At CORE Digital Pictures, I worked on Nickelodeon's hit television series "Planet Sheen". At March Entertainment I worked on the "Playmobil 2" DVD feature, and the upcoming hit television series "Mia and Me".

In addition to my studio work I also started a 3D freelance company called JSquared Studios, in which I have worked on projects ranging from large budget architectural visualizations to renders on Volkswagen's website.

Upon relocating to Minnesota for my wife's career, I ended up here at ghOst Productions as a 3D Generalist!
